DERRY: Staff members of the Department of Customs in the Northern Bahamas, made a donation to the victims of Hurricane Joaquin during a press conference at the Department’s head office on Wednesday. The funds raised, over $1,000, came from personal donations.
Accepting the cheque on behalf of NEMA, Administrator for West Grand Bahama, Brenda Colebrooke said the gesture was a gracious one, and she is sure the affected residents will appreciate the much-needed funds.
