ISLAMABAD: Airport Security Force (ASF) has foiled a bid of drug smuggling at newly-inaugurated Islamabad airport and arrested two foreign nationals.
The officials intercepted two Nigerians identified as Johnson and Jennifer for checking and recovered 1,446 grams and 360 grams heroin from their luggage respectively.
Both suspects were trying to smuggle the heroin to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, through a flight no. PK233. The ASF officials, later, handed over both foreign nationals to Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) for further investigations.
