KARACHI: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has finalised a reference against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) leader and former chief minister Sindh, Liaquat Ali Jatoi, on Wednesday.
Jatoi along with former prime minister Shaukat Aziz, involved in the case related to illegal appointments in Alternative Energy Development Board (AEDB).
Earlier, the PTI leader has been granted bail before arrest by the High Court. But, NAB has decided to challenge the bail decision in the Supreme Court on July 12.
Prior to this, in May, Chairman NAB Justice (retired) Javed Iqbal had ordered the Accountability Bureau to file a reference against Jatoi and Aziz over a case of alleged misuse of authority.
