ISLAMABAD: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has clarified that NAB will not arrest former president Asif Ali Zardari, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and MPA Faryal Talpur on the wishes or behest of any minister or individual.
In a press release, it is stated that NAB still not received attested copies of detailed judgment of Supreme Court of Pakistan. When the copies of verdict will be received, law will take its own course. NAB also decided to review statements of a federal minister to media and for this purpose they asked PEMRA to provide details of these statements. The press release further stated that after reviewing the statements of the minister NAB will decide that whether minister’s claim about NAB regrets , winding up or reschedule of the cases are purely on merit or it is an attempt to malign and disrupt any ongoing NAB inquiry.
NAB strongly rejected any pressure and assured that NAB investigations are being conducting according to law and constitution to conclude high profile cases.
