KARACHI: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) here on Friday organized Calligraphy Competition on “Awareness against Corruption”.
The Calligraphy competition was held at Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi in which 25 students representing 17 Arts institutes and schools of Sindh participated, said a statement issued here on Friday.
The students demonstrated their artistic skills by preparing the pieces of calligraphic art on the theme of “Awareness Against Corruption”.
On the occasion Director General NAB Muhammad Altaf Bawany highlighted the importance of calligraphy. He said calligraphy is a fading art now.
He called for effective collaboration with awareness through forums and institutions like Arts Council to create awareness against corruption.
DG NAB also reiterated on the significance of character building of youth. On the occasion prizes were also distributed amongst among the winners.
