MULTAN: The Regional Tax Office (RTO) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Multan, is facing issues in achieving the target set for the month of May.
The Federal Board of Revenue had assigned the revenue collection target of Rs 11.59 billion to the Regional Tax Office for the month of May. The Regional Tax Office has been given highest revenue collection task of the history and it has adopted special measures for accomplish the job. For the collection of allocated revenue target RTO Multan has decided to accelerate the tax recovery drive from the defaulters for achievement of set revenue.
The Regional Tax Office has collected Rs6.57 billion despite of their efforts under the various heads of taxes in first 26 days of the May. The Regional Tax Office needs to further Rs5.2billion taxes during the next four working days of the May.
Regional Tax Office is inserting all its energies for the attainment of fixed revenue target for the month of May and for these purpose tax officials of RTO Multan is making severe hard work to reach target.
The Regional Tax Office Multan needs almost Rs1.25 billion tax collection on daily basis for the realization of stated target from Federal Board of Revenue. Tax authorities of Regional Tax Office are striving hard for the accomplishment of revenue target in this concern.
Chief Collector Khawaja Saleem Raza Asif has also directed all commissioners of the various zones of RTO Multan to meet the target of May.
