MULTAN: Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation earned Rs15.4 million through auction of confiscated vehicles and miscellaneous goods.
According to the details, the Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation conducted auction of confiscated vehicles and other miscellaneous goods. Auction was held in the Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan Office Raja Pur near Edhi Village.
Customs Intelligence offered 12 vehicles and one heavy bike non-duty paid including Hino Ranger truck, Kawasaki heavy bike, Toyota Vitz, Toyota Mark X, Swift, Toyota Fielder, Toyota Corolla G and other goods for auction. Bidders in the auction were mostly interested in bidding different vehicles. Customs Intelligence sold out nine vehicles in Rs12.6 million during auction. While remaining unsold vehicles were offered fewer prices than their average price in bidding.
These confiscated vehicles were seized by field Intelligence Unit of Sadiqabad, Multan Dera Ghazi Khan during their anti-smuggling campaign in the jurisdiction.
Customs Intelligence and Investigation also sold out two different lots of miscellaneous goods including electric air coolers and washing machines, new HTV tyres and tubes worth Rs2.8 million during auction.
Assistant Director Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan Javed Raza supervised the whole auction process along with their staff to ensure transparency.
