MULTAN: Collectorate of Customs Preventive Collector Muhammad Saleem distributed workload among deputy collector and assistant collectors with immediate effect and until further orders.
The Collectorate, in order to streamline workload, distributed work among four officials including deputy collectors and assistant collectors after discussion with Additional Collector Ali Abbas Gardezi.
Deputy Collector Saqib-ur-Rehman has been assigned responsibilities of Anti-Smuggling Organization Divisions Faisalabad and Sargodha (Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Chiniot, Jhang, Sargodha, Khushab, Mianwali and Bhakkar).Deputy Collector Saqib-ur-Rehman will deal all matters relating to anti-smuggling, warehouses, auction, I&P and recovery in these areas. He will be stationed at Faisalabad/ Mianwali to perform his responsibilities.
Deputy Collector Maqbool Ahmad has been given responsibilities of Anti-Smuggling Organization Dera Ghazi Khan (Muzaffargarh, Dera Ghazi Khan, Layyah, Rajanpur).He will also deal with auction, recovery, warehouses of his region.
Assistant Collector Syed Jalal Haider Zaidi has been assigned responsibilities of Anti-Smuggling Organization Multan and Sahiwal including Khanewal ,Lodhran,Vehari, Pakpattan. He will also deal with matter related to administration, budget& accounts ,drug enforcement, refunds, DRRA, I&P of Multan , Dera Ghazi and accounts. He will be stationed at Multan Customs House.
Assistant Collector Muhammad Fahad Jamil has been given charge of Anti-Smuggling Organization Bahawalpur Division which includes Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar. He will also deal all matters relating to Anti-Smuggling, Warehouses, and recovery in these areas. He will be stationed at Sadiqabad Office.
Effective workload distribution of work will enhance the performance of the Collectorate and it will also enable the Collectorate to achieve optimal performance levels.
