MULTAN: The Customs Collectorate Multan has collected Rs 2,181.9 million in wake of different taxes during the month of September 2016-17.
According to details, Multan Customs has been assigned the revenue collection target of Rs 2,967 million for the month of September in fiscal year 2016-17.
The Collectorate of the Multan Customs have collected Rs 377.372 million against the assigned revenue target of Rs 466 million under the head of customs duty for the period of September. Almost 81 percent of the assigned target has been attained by the Multan Customs during the month of September.
The Customs Collectorate Multan has collected sales taxes of Rs 1,148.110 million against set the target of Rs 2448 million throughout September of the ongoing fiscal year 2016-17.
Multan Customs have generated revenue of Rs.15.895 million against the assigned target of Rs 39 million in wake of income tax in September.
The Customs Collectorate Multan has collected Rs.14.522 million under the head of federal excise duty (FED) against the allocated target of Rs.14 million in the September.
Multan Customs have collected Rs.2.255 million additional federal excise duty (FED) and Rs.623.799 million of petroleum levy during September without any set target collection target under the head of Petroleum levy and additional federal excise duty.
However, Customs Multan have dropped short from the assigned collection duty target during the September due to less collection of duty. Multan Customs has witnessed shortfall in their duty tax collection due to Eidul Azha holidays in September.
