MULTAN: The Customs Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) has impounded a non-duty paid jeep worth Rs 2.5 million in an operation in Multan city on the instructions of Customs Collector Sarfraz Ahmad Warriach.
As per details, a special team of Anti-Smuggling Organization under the supervision of Customs Inspector Haq Nawaz Malik conducted a successful operation and impounded a non-customs paid Toyota Surf jeep in the jurisdiction of Multan city.
The team demanded the legal documents regarding the possession of the car but the driver could not produce the required documents so the jeep has been confiscated under the Customs Act 1969. It was reported that the total value of the jeep is estimated at Rs 2.5 million.
