MULTAN: Collectorate of Adjudication has decided 51 different seizure cases of worth Rs.46.279 million during the course of July 2017-18.
According to details, Deputy Collector Farhat Ali has finalized 41 various seizure cases of worth Rs.22.591 million in the month of July after the completion of proceedings of the cases in Customs Adjudication Customs. There were 47 fresh seizure cases of worth Rs.27.595 million added in the court of Deputy Collector Farhat Ali for legal trial in the month of July.
Deputy Collector Farhat Ali has decided all major seizure cases in the favour of department in July after completion of their hearing. There are 21 pending seizure cases of worth Rs.12.304 million pending in the Customs Adjudication for final verdict after the completion of trial.
Additional Collector Talib Hussain has decided only 9 various seizure cases of worth Rs.16 million during period of July. These concluded seizure cases include non-customs paid vehicles and auto parts formed by Customs Intelligence and Anti-smuggling Organization in their different actions. Almost 19 new seizure cases of worth Rs.37.262 million has been added for trial in the court of Customs Adjudication during July.
Collector Adjudication Customs Mirza Mubashir Baig has finalized only one case of gold smuggling and currency smuggling of worth Rs.7.688 million after its proceedings. There were four new seizure cases of worth Rs.50.245 million added in the Customs Adjudication for hearing.
