NEW YORK: The owners of PS4 don’t need to worry as they can get for what they have been anxiously waiting for.
Those who are waiting for Minecraft can breathe a sigh of relief as reports indicate that the patch will be coming very soon. This is good news for fans after 4J Studios announced earlier this week that while updates were due for the European release of the game (particularly on PS4, PS3 and PSVita), they were unsure as to when it would be out, stating on their official Twitter page that there was:
The latest patch is said to be one of the biggest yet; adding horses, donkeys, witches, bats, whithers and whither skeletons to the juggernaut that is Minecraft. As well as horses and donkeys, the update will feature new sounds to the game, a new tutorial world, a new adventure mode and new death messages. Xbox 360 and Xbox One owners have already received their patch so it’s just a case of waiting for the PlayStation to launch theirs.
By now just about anyone who owns a console or home computer has played Minecraft almost to death. Largely considered to be one of the most successful video games of all time, the sandbox masterpiece has sold more than 60 million copies across all platforms since its launch in 2011. On February 25th 2014, the game had roughly 100 million registered users.
In September, the company behind Minecraft, Mojang, announced a deal with software giants Microsoft, relinquishing ownership of the game to the company for a whopping $2.5 billion.
