GILGIT-BALTISTAN: The Model Customs Collectorate Gilgit-Baltistan generated an extra amount of Rs189.16million during four months and three weeks of November Fiscal Year 2017-18 against the collection under all the heads during the same period of corresponding Fiscal Year 2016-17.
According to details explained by official sources of Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) that, during above said period, the GB received Rs1872.69million under all the heads whereas it did Rs1683.5million under all the heads during four months and three weeks of November FY17-18. The GB demonstrated a growth of 11.24% during said period against the same period of previous FY16-17.
The Collectorate of GB collected Rs53.83million extra revenue under all the heads during first three weeks of November Fiscal Year 2017-18. The sources told CT that, during said period, the GB earned Rs361.18million of all duties and taxes while it did Rs307.35million under all the heads during three weeks of corresponding FY16-17.
The Customs Collectorate of GB posted a growth of 17.52% during three weeks of November FY17-18 against the revenue collection during three weeks of previous FY16-17. The Collectorate of GB collected surplus revenue of Rs2.00million against the allocated proportional revenue target under all the heads during initial three weeks of November FY17-18. The GB was earmarked a proportional target of Rs359million for said period under all the heads.
