KUALA LUMPUR: The country’s trade is likely to grow by two per cent in 2016 amid the challenging economic environment, said International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed.
He said the growth would be supported by the government focus on trade in the Asean market. “Among our focus will be Asean nations.
Asean is the largest trading region which contributes significantly to Malaysia’s total trade,” he told reporters after launching the “Generation of New Exporters” programme here today.
