KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s gross international reserves stood at $97.3 billion as of May 15, up from $96.1 billion on April 28, the central bank said on Monday. Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) said reserves were sufficient to finance 7.8 months of retained imports and were 1.1 times the short-term external debt.
