KARACHI: The local LPG producers have reduced prices by Rs. 6,435/tonne to Rs. 70,299/tonne (including sales tax) from its earlier price of Rs.76,734/tonne.
This was stated by Abdul Hadi Khan, the patron-in-chief of the All Pakistan LPG Distributors Association and Chairman of the FPCCI Standing Committee for LPG on Wednesday.
Abdul Hadi said that the prices have been reduced from December 1, after a fall in Saudi Aramco Contract Price.
He said that after LPG price reduction by producers, marketing companies are needed to cut the LPG prices by Rs. 6.50/kilogram and Rs. 76 per 11.8 kilogram cylinder, and Rs. 292 per 45.4 kilogram cylinder.
He asked the local producers to ensure the supply of LPG to marketing companies at the reduced rates on reasonable profit.
