KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange benchmark 100-index gained 53.51 points or 0.15 percent to reach 35730.01 points and volume of 179,129,180 shares on Thursday.
Total volume traded in the market was 428,153,620 shares with 365 total traded companies out of which 126 were up 125 were down and 14 were unchanged.
Commercial Banks was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 72,397,200 shares. It was followed by Technology and Communication with a total traded volume of 57,810,500 shares.
The three top traded companies were K-Electric Ltd. with a volume of 25,065,500 and price per share of 8.08 (0.07), Quice Food with a volume 16,312,500 of price per share of 13.40 (0.02), P.T.C.L. with a volume 15,582,500 of price per share of 22.15 (0.04).
The top three advancers were Bata (Pak) with price per share 3541.00 (167.83), Colgate Palmolive with price per share of 1577.78 (55.78) and Indus Dyeing share of 1092.00 (52.00).
The top three decliners were Rafhan Maize with price per share of 9675.00 (-275.00), Siemens Pak. with price per share of 1182.50 (-35.16) and Service Ind.Ltd share of 828.03 (-23.12).
High and low were 35996.36 and 35508.82 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 179,129,180 shares.
