KARACHI: Started with the bullish trend the Karachi Stock Exchanged turned negative and shed 51.50 points to drop to 33792.80 level till midday.
The KSE benchmark-100 index recorded the highest level of 33968.22 points and lowest level of 33792.80 points, while the total volume of the market remained 49,284,970 shares, having Rs4,065,772,056 value.
The top three traded companies were KASB Bank Ltd, Byco Petroleum and B.O.Punjab. The KASB Bank Ltd, despite reducing share price, remained on top of the trading companies with a volume of 18,259,500 and price per share of 2.79 (-0.58) and Byco Petroleum was second with a volume 10,803,000 of price per share of 12.72 (0.31) and B.O.Punjab with a volume 8,143,000 of price per share of 9.90 (-0.03).
Earlier, the bulls ruled the Karachi Stock Exchange on Tuesday as 100-index added 82.84 points to reach 33927.14 level, with the total volume of 11,253,700 shares.
On Monday, after initial gains of 196 points, the market closed only up 69 points at 33,844 level with volumes of over 263m shares.
