King Abdullah Customs intercepts attempt to smuggle over 138 kg of cocaine

RIYADH: King Abdullah’s King Abdullah Economic City in Rabigh achieved a remarkable success by thwarting an attempt to smuggle a large quantity of “cocaine” amounting to 138,957 hundred and thirty-eight kilograms, which was found hidden in a consignment received for Customs.

Mohammed Al-Mehmadi, General Manager of King Abdullah Customs said: “Frozen chicken” was delivered to the Customs in refrigerated containers. The thwarted attempt was the second in less than 10 days, with customs blocking last weekend trying to smuggle a large quantity of cocaine of more than 67 kg, hidden in a similar mission to the mission.
