LAHORE: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Lahore claimed that degrees of arrested doctors involved in illegal kidney transplant centre have proved fake. FIA Deputy Director Chaudhry Sarfraz disclosed this while addressing a press conference here on Wednesday.
He said that the FIA team conducted a raid at illegal kidney transplant centre in Pir Mahal Toba Tek Singh two days ago and arrested seven fake doctors. These fake doctors were running kidney transplant centre for last three years. The accused posing themselves as doctors were busy transplantation of kidney to a Saudi National in Pir Mahal. The deputy director said that after the investigation, it came to know that head of this gang Dr Kashif Riaz is nephew of former Punjab governor and PTI leader Chaudhry Sarwar.
