ISLAMABAD: The Customs Appellate Tribunal reserved decision in a customs case filed by M/s TCS Private Limited involving field offices of the Federal Board of Revenue.
Tribunal’s bench, comprising Ziauddin Wazir, heard the case and reserved the judgment.
Earlier, the bench had dated in office the hearing in a customs case filed by M/s TCS Private Limited with the directives to submit related record. The bench asked the parties to submit record in the case prior to the next date of hearing.
Earlier in a recent week, another bench of tribunal heard almost nine cases. Directorate General Investigation and Intelligence, Islamabad, M/s Smart Zone, M/s TCS Private Limited, Saqib Abbas and Ghazanfar Gul had filed the cases. After the completion of arguments, the bench reserved the decision in the case filed by M/s TCS Private Limited.
The bench had postponed the hearing of cases filed by Ayyan Ali, Altaf Hussain, Muhammad Awais, M/s Universal Gateway, M/s New Ahsan Enterprises, and M/s Teens Enterprises.
The bench had heard around a dozen cases. These cases were filed by M/s Waseem Autos, M/s Nisar Traders, M/s Parts & Parts, M/s Chief Autos, M/s Aman Elahi, M/s Kohinoor Traders, M/s Saleem Silk Centre, M/s Five Star Trading, M/s Pakistan Royal Group and M/s Nayatel Private Limited, M/s Degicell & others, M/s Kohinoor Chemical, M/s Fazal Razaq, M/s Fazal-ur-Rehman and Gul Rehman & others.
The appellants had filed the cases against Directorate General, Investigation and Intelligence, Islamabad and Model customs Collectorate Islamabad.
