ISLAMABAD: The Customs State Warehouse (SWH) Islamabad Airport will hold a public auction of different kinds of unclaimed, confiscated and surrendered goods on 18th of May Financial Year 2016-17.
According to Ali Asad, Assistant Collector State Warehouse Islamabad, following the guidelines forwarded by Collector Model Customs Collectorate Islamabad Dr. Arslan Subugtageen to gear up the efforts to meet the revised revenue target for Financial Year (July to June)2016-17, the State Warehouse will hold a public auction by following the custom auction rules today.
The bidders from different parts, mostly from Peshawar, Rawalpindi and Islamabad, will participate in the auction. The auction will be held under the supervision of Assistant Collector State Warehouse and will be organized by government registered auctioneer named “Alvi Auctioneer”.
The goods, to be presented for auction, comprise artificial silver Jewellery, I-Pads, LTVs and LEDs, female garments, telecom products, wrest watches and many other articles.
The SWH Islamabad will also hold another auction within the current month (May) to collect more revenue by pursuing the allocated revenue target for Financial Year 2016-17.
