LAHORE: The employees of Inland Revenue, who qualified for promotion in 2009, have urged the Federal Board of Revenue to promote them as inspectors following the departmental laws.
Officials informed that the FBR has conducted departmental examination for the promotion of clerks and supervisor to the post of inspectors in which 700 employees appeared in examination out of which 80 candidates qualified for inspector.
They added that after passing of six years the department did not promote them.
The qualification level for the promotion of clerks and supervisors must be declared at graduate with more than two year service.
The selected candidates have appealed the Chairman FBR, Tariq Bajwa to take action personally regarding the promotion of employees.
