Industrialists, traders laud LCCI arrangements for voters

LAHORE: Industrialists and traders of all groups have lauded measures taken by management on the occasion of Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) associate class election 2017-18.

LCCI Vice President Nasir Hameed Khan told Customs Today that “By the grace of Allah Almighty everything goes very well and peacefully as the LCCI management has taken far-reaching measures, besides voters are being properly guided to their entire satisfaction,” he stated, adding that both sides are very well satisfied so far as the management of the election is concerned.  PMLN Traders Wing Punjab President Mian Muhammad Ali said that election has become very transparent and fair as candidates’ pictures have also been printed on the ballot papers.

LCCI SV Amjad Ali Jawa informed that none of the side has made any objections so far and we are more than satisfied with the arrangements.  LCCI executive committee member Khawaja Khawar and former VP LCCI Kashif Anwer said that none of group was complaining and objecting  which is the testimony of the fact that that arrangement are satisfactory.

Progressive Gropus Abdul Wadood Alvi also expressed his satisfaction over the corporate class LCCI election arrangement.  LCCI general secretary Shahid Khalil said LCCI election had been a challenge and this year particularly security measures have also been taken.

On the instructions of LCCI President Abdul Basit, Vice President Nasir Hameed and Senior Vice President Amjad Ali Jawa also took on board to the CCPO Lahore and concerned police station to keep things under control.  “I must give credit to both of the election contesting groups as they extended their full corporate and above all they went an extra mile in managing things by themselves, he said.

Leaders of all the groups were themselves guiding the voters to the vote casting points and thus we are able to conduct the corporate class election successfully, he added.

In order to facilitate the associate class voters, the LCCI management  has installed computers and other infrastructure including chairs, tables and cable and temporary  shed besides in order to avoid any untoward incident and ensure fool proof security police personnel’s were also deployed.
