JAKARTA: The recent annual shareholders meeting of PT Indosat Ooredoo Tbk (ISAT) dismissed two commissioners, Ian Charles Dench and Astera Primanto Bhakti, and appointed Heru Pambudi as a new commissioner. Heru is a representative of the Indonesian Government in the company.
Indonesian Government has 14.3 percent stake in the company. Heru is currently serving as Director General of Customs and Excise at the Finance Ministry.
The meeting also appointed another new commissioner, Philip Chappel. The meeting also received the resignation of John Martin Thompson from his position as Director and Chief Technology Officer.
The meeting also appointed Johnny Ingemar Svedberg as a director of the company.
