TOKYO: Visakhapatnam and Krishnapatnam ports of India and three more container ports will be constructed and developed with the support of Japan. Mr. Naidu said, Japan International Cooperation Agency is preparing a project report on potential investment sectors in AP.
Stating that Japanese are wary of India’s red-tapism, he said the state will soon come out with a new industrial policy in which single window clearance would be given to Japanese investors. A special desk would be set up with people who can speak Japanese.
Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, he said, signed a MoU with AP to promote investment by companies in AP in urban development, agriculture, food processing and IT and would also support the development of industrial parks in AP, he added.
Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has come forward to prepare a project report on industrial potential in AP.
