DHAKA: The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has projected a 7.1% Gross Domestic Products (GDP) growth for Bangladesh in 2017-18 financial years (FY18).
IMF made the forecast in its latest World Economic Outlook (WEO) released on Wednesday. It also predicted that annual inflation rate would reach 5.8% at the end of the year. According to the report, the global economic activity is picking up with a long-awaited cyclical recovery in investment, manufacturing, and trade.
