ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) will hear four tax references challenging decisions of the Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue (ATIR) and Customs Appellate Tribunal on Tuesday.
A division bench of the IHC comprising Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui and Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani will hear the cases filed against ATIR and Customs Appellate Tribunal.
The two of the three references were filed by Pakistan Television Corporation Limited through it counsels Muhammad Idrees and Saeed Afridi while one income tax reference was filed by a citizen M Asif through his counsel Sardar Anzar Iqbal.
Advocate Saeed Ahemd Zaidi would represent ATIR before the bench.
Meanwhile, the bench would also hear a customs reference challenging Customs Appellate Tribunal, Islamabad. A citizen, Manzoor Ahmed had challenged tribunal’s decision about customs duty imposition at IHC through his counsel Naeem Qazi.
