ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court on Wednesday held hearing of brief arguments on income tax references filed by Regional Tax Office (RTO) and adjourned.
While hearing multiple tax references filed by Commissioner Income Tax, the court adjourned hearing as the main counsels were not present from respondent side. However, main counsels were represented by associates, who simply sought adjournment in the cases.
IHC Division Bench, comprising of Justice Noorul Haq N Qureshi and Justice Aamer Farooq was hearing references filed against M/S Askari Associates Private Limited, M/S Safe Guuard Securities and others.
Meanwhile, hearing of references filed by commissioner inland revenue was also adjourned till second week of January, 2016. Commissioner inland revenue had filed cases against Attock Refinary Limited, National Police Foundation and others.
