ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) and Roots Millennium Schools (RMS) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance cooperation for promoting entrepreneurial spirit, especially in youth. Muzzamil Hussain Sabri, President, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Chaudhry Faisal Mushtaq, Chief Executive Officer, Roots Millennium Schools signed the MoU. The signing ceremony was held at Chamber House.
The main objective of the MoU is to encourage the students of RMS towards entrepreneurship as well as to promote industry-academia linkages. ICCI will provide internships to RMS students to give them practical exposure of theoretical knowledge, assist them in identification of research topics for industry and will provide them mentorship and guidance on entrepreneurship. RMS students will also be engaged in event management activities for providing them useful learning experience.
In return RMS will share industrial search studies with ICCI for the benefit of local industry. RMS will provide 50% discount in admission fee and 10% discount in monthly tuition fee to the children of ICCI members for study in its schools. Monthly fee discount shall be applicable from Play Group to Secondary Education level.
Speaking at the occasion, Chaudhry Faisal Mushtaq, Chief Executive Officer, Roots Millennium Schools said that RMS has gained national and international recognition for providing quality education. He said RMS has achieved academic excellence and all round development of students over nearly 30 years. RMS has won the fastest 100 growing companies of Pakistan award and 500 fastest growing companies of Arabia & Gulf region from the All World Network USA. He vowed that RMS will continue to provide international standard education to the students.
In his welcome address, Muzzamil Hussain Sabri, President, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry appreciated the dynamic role of Ch. Faisal Mushtaq for developing Roots Millennium Schools into a role model educational institution in the country that provides quality education to our youth and prepares them to become future leaders of the country. He hoped that MoU of cooperation between ICCI and RMS would yield beneficial results for the students as well as for the local industry. Abdul Rauf Alam ICCI Group Leader played a key role in finalization of this MoU.
