HYDERABAD: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation Hyderabad’s Field Investigation Unit (FIU) has impounded two non-duty paid Suzuki Sierra Jeeps worth Rs 1.2 million in Hyderabad.
As per details, following the instructions of Director General of Customs intelligence and Investigation, Lutfulla Virk and Director of Karachi region, Asif Marghoob Ahmed Siddiqui for curbing the smuggling menace in the region, intelligence team conducted raid to hold non-duty paid vehicles.
The team comprising, Superintendent Ghulam Youns khan, Deputy Superintendent Irfan Khan, Seizing officer Irfan Gahni and others intercepted two vehicle bearing Registration No, 3518 and 1137 respectively and asked the driver to show the documents but they remained fail to comply with the orders due to not having any kind of legal documents against the possession of the vehicles on which customs impounded the said vehicles.
After lodging case against the accused, impounded vehicle were submitted to the state ware house of Hyderabad.
