HYDERABAD: Collectorate of Customs collected Rs591.659 million customs duty (CD) during the month of June 2019.
Sources told Customs Today that during the month of June 2019, ASO impounded 15 non-duty paid vehicles u/s 157 along with truck, oil tanker, other vehicles, huge quantity of HSD, Iranian diesel, and other goods. The market value of the seized goods is Rs 121,883,539 including duty & taxes.
The Collectorate collected revenue through Hyderabad Dry Port, SWH Sukkur and Larkana divisions, State Warehouse, M/s Rema Cooking Oil, KPR (Zero Point).
Collector Khalid Hussain Jamali, Additional Collector (HQ) Dr Aamer Nawaz Hamid, Deputy Collector Syed Kareem, Additional Deputy Collector Kaleemullah Sukkur, Muhammad Yaqoob Pasha inspector in charge admin dry port Hyderabad investigation & prosecution and other officers played an important role in revenue collection.
Sources told that the anti-smuggling campaign is in full swing in the region following the direction of the Federal Board of Revenue and Collector Khalid Hussain Jamali to streamline the national economy.
