ENGLAND: Honda, the Japanese bikemaker, is all set to roll out new Unicorn 160 in the Indian market soon. Actually, the bike has earlier reached Honda dealerships across the nation and bookings have also been started for the bike. The new 160cc bike is priced at Rs. 63,695 (ex-showroom, Delhi) which means the on-road Delhi price will be around Rs. 70,000, confirms a Delhi-based dealer.
The new model of the bike features a more modern design and is expected to share its design and components with the CB Trigger. The bike features a muscular tank with shrouds accommodating the 3-D Honda logo. The three fins on the side panels look very identical to the two fins found on the CB Trigger. Moreover, the pillion footrests too have been directly lifted from the Trigger.
The rear-end of the bike looks completely new with the ‘H’ design tail-lights and an LED unit. Switch gear, handles, digital instrument cluster and few other features also look similar to the ones found on the CB Trigger. The bike is powered by a 160cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that is good for 14bhp.
