LAHORE: Pakistan Customs Preventive and Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) at the Allama Iqbal International Airport aborted a smuggling attempt of heroin from Lahore into Saudi Arabia.
The arrested person was identified as Muhammad Mudasir Hussain. The accused had concealed the heroin in his luggage. The ANF shifted him to an unknown place for further investigation. A case has also been registered against him.
The recovered heroin is almost 1.5 kilogram valued over Rs15million in the international market. Pakistan customs handed over the accused to ANF for further action.
Earlier, Pakistan customs at the Allama Iqbal international Airport had arrested a man who was travelling to Jeddah for Umera from whom 2.5 kilogram of heroin was recovered. The value of the heroin was Rs2.5million.
