HAZARA: The Hazara customs station collected Rs117.99million All Duty Taxes and Surcharges during April’s Financial Year FY2016-17. The Hazara generated Rs47.94million All Duty Taxes and Surcharges from 1st to 15th of April of Financial Year FY2016-17.
The sources of Hazara told Customs Today that the Hazara customs station received Rs32.83million Customs Duty during April whereas it did Rs0.94million Sales Tax and it got Rs3.08million various taxes and surcharges. The sources said the said station collected Rs0.21million Redemption Duty, Rs55.15million Sales Tax on palm oil, Rs22.01million Additional Income Tax and it earned Rs3.77million Federal Excise Duty on imports during April FY16-17.
During initial 15 days of April FY16-17, the Hazara generated Rs13.77million Customs Duty, Rs1.24million miscellaneous taxes and surcharges while Hazara customs station collected Rs0.06million Redemption Duty on imports during 1st to 15th of April. The said customs station earned Rs22.433million Sales Tax on palm oil and it did Rs8.94million Additional Income Tax. The said customs station received Rs1.50million Federal Excise Duty on imports during the first 15 days of April FY16-17.
The Hazara station showed excellent performance during the first half of the current Financial Year 2016-17. It collected Rs305.56million all duties surcharges and taxes. During the first half of FY16-17, the Hazara customs station generated Rs89.83million Customs Duty while it did Rs0.75million Withholding Surcharge.
During the first half, the said customs station got Rs7.77million miscellaneous duty and it collected Rs0.51million Redemption Duty. During the first half of FY16-17, the Hazara station earned Rs0.23million Sales Tax and the said station did Rs140.10million Sales Tax on palm oil.
The above said customs station collected Rs55.87million Additional Income Tax and the same station did Rs10.50million Federal Excise Duty on imports.
