MULTAN: Hascol Petroleum Limited will start clearance of their imported petroleum products from Multan Dry Port very soon.
According to details, a private petroleum company M/s Hascol has approached Multan Customs for the clearance of their import petroleum products from Multan Dry Port. It is important to mention here that Multan Dry Port is already handling import consignments of the High Speed Diesel (HSD) of PARCO.
The well-timed import services of the Multan Customs at Multan Dry Port are attracting major importers for the clearance of their import consignments from Multan Dry Port.
Hascol Petroleum has set up another fully-owned branch Hascol Lubricant at a cost of $20 million subsidiary which will produce various types of lubricants to increase company fuel sales in the Southern Punjab region.
The company has constructed state of the art bonded warehouse in the location of Mehmood Kot for the clearance of their High Speed Diesel consignments. It has a total capacity of 13,500 metric tons of fuel products including 9,000 metric tons of high speed diesel and 4,500 metric tons of motor fuel and is connected to the PARCO pipeline for the clearance of High Speed Diesel (HSD).
The Model of Customs Collectorate Multan team visited the newly constructed Bonded Ware House of Hascol Petroleum Limited in Mehmood Kot area to review the necessary arrangements required for their installation system.
The Mehmood Kot installation will improve clearance of High Speed Diesel, its productivity and reduce downtime for the Hascol Company in their supply in Southern Punjab. The clearance of High Speed Diesel of newly added company will boost the revenue collection of the Model of Customs Collectorate Multan in the future and it will also attract other petroleum companies to clear their petroleum products from Multan Dry Port due to geographical importance of South Punjab for the expansion of their businesses.
Mulltan Customs Collector Saud Imran Ahmad has directed Assistant Collector Zohaib Sandhila along with concerned authorities to provide best clearance facilities to importers for the generation of revenue.
