ISLAMABAD: Model Ayyan Ali has got a final nod to fly abroad as her name has been removed from the Exit Control List (ECL) by the Interior Ministry.
Sources told Customs Today that on the orders of the Supreme Court, the Interior Ministry has issued the notification in this regard.
Now Ayyan Ali can travel abroad and it is expected that she will leave for Dubai. It is important to mention here that the model was arrested in a currency smuggling case at Islamabad Airport when she was leaving for Dubai, and later her name were included in a murder case of Customs inspector on the request of his widow.
She is on bail and her case is still pending in the court in Rawalpindi. Directorate General Customs Intelligence and Investigation also filed a petition in Islamabad High Court to obtain permission of investigation in money laundering case against Model Ayyan Ali and the hearing may start in the first week of March.
