ISLAMABAD: The Federal Government has released over 2.1 billion rupees to Capital Administration and Development Division (CAAD) for various development projects. The amount has been released under Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) for the current financial year till 17th of this month, Radio Pakistan reported.
According to Planning Commission, one billion rupees have been released for renovation and rehabilitation of physical infrastructure of two hundred educational institutions under Prime Minister’s Education Reforms Programme in Islamabad capital territory.
Five hundred million rupees were released for construction of additional family suites for the Members of Parliament.
During this period, over forty-two million rupees have been released for establishment of Federal Breast Cancer Screening Centre at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences, Islamabad.
Similarly, twenty million rupees have been provided for Safe Blood Transfusion Services Project.
