ISLAMABAD: The Federal Service Tribunal (FST) will hear several cases on Friday (today), challenging actions of the administration of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
The FST benches comprising Justice (r) Syed Zahid Hussain and Syed Muhammad Hamid would hear the cases filed by employees of the FBR.
Appellants, including Akbar Ali Shad, Qaiser Khan, Muhammad Hamyon, Taj Muhammad and Ahmed Saeed had filed these complaints against the FBR administration.
All of the said appellants had filed submissions about ‘implementation’ and had prayed the tribunal to direct the board on fulfilling tribunal’s former orders regarding their submissions.
They had complained about board’s lethargy and submitted that the board administration had not taken bench’s order serious and did not compiled the orders. They asked the tribunal to bring justice to them by ensuring implementation over the tribunal’s orders.
Meanwhile, another bench adjourned hearing of couple of other cases carrying complaints about promotion. The appellants had asked the tribunal that board had ignored them and had not provided them with promotion to upper scales despite serving for years at the board.
Asif Khan and Hammad had filed these cases praying the tribunal to take and immediate action and ensure provision of justice to them.
