ISLAMABAD: A division bench of the Federal Service Tribunal issued fresh directives to the Federal Board of Revenue during the hearing of cases seeking grant of time-scale during fourth week of April.
FST bench comprising Syed Rafique Hussain and Syed Muhammad Hamid heard the cases filed by employees of the Federal Board of Revenue. The bench sought the board’s reply on a number of matters being contested by employees of the board.
At least 40 employees had filed complaints regarding grant of time-scale including Mansoor Ahmed, Nadeem Khan, Khuram Azam, Babar Ahmed, Naheed Sultana and others.
They had submitted that board administration had not heard their petition in this regard. Hence, the tribunal may issue an appropriate direction to the board in this regard.
Meanwhile, the bench also heard a promotion matter filed by M Iqbal. Hearing on this case was adjourned by the bench. M Iqbal had filed implementation matter which was pending before the tribunal since months. The tribunal would resume hearing on the cases in coming days.
