ISLAMABAD: A division bench of the Federal Service Tribunal (FST) has reserved a decision on a service matter while hearing complaints filed against the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) during third week of December.
The FST division benches comprising members Syed Rafique Hussain Shah and Dr Nazir Saeed heard the case filed by Said Hussain Abbasi and reserved the decision.
Said Hussain Abbasi had filed complaint about implementation. He had prayed the tribunal to direct the board to implement a decision announced by the tribunal. Abbasi had filed the complaint last year in which the tribunal had decided in his favor in a promotion case. However, the board did not implement the orders announced by the tribunal.
Following board’s lethargy in this regard, the appellant had asked the tribunal to ensure the implementation of its decision. The tribunal had reserved the decision after hearing the arguments from both sides. This was one of the cases of implementations pending before the tribunal.
