FST reserves verdict on complaints filed by FBR employees

ISLAMABAD: Federal Service Tribunal reserved decision on an implementation complaint filed against Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) by Syed Sultan Abbas on Thursday.

Ishtiaq Ahmed and M Javed Iqbal Kasi heard the final arguments on the case and reserved decision on the matter.

Same bench heard the cases asking the tribunal to ensure implementation over its earlier announced decision which was not yet compiled by the board authorities.

Noor Muhammad, Muhammad Ishtiaque and Aurangzeb had filed these cases challenging different decisions of the FBR. They had filed their cases in 2016.

The bench also dated in office hearing of other ‘implementation’ and ‘special allowance’ complaints filed by employees of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).

In the meantime, Syed Rafique Hussain Shah and Dr Nazir Saeed adjourned hearing of cases filed by Waseem Iqbal, Anjum, Said Hussain Abbasi and Abdul Sattar.

Waseem Iqbal, Anjum Waheed, and Said Hussain Abbasi had filed complaints on ‘implementation’ while Abdul Sattar had submitted a complaint about ‘Withholding of three increments’.
