ISLAMABAD: The Federal Service Tribunal (FST) on Tuesday adjourned the hearing of several complaints against the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) until October 31.
The bench comprising Member Technical, Ishtiaq Ahmed and Dr Nazir Saeed also directed the counsels to submit helping documents at the tribunal before the next date of hearing.
The FST bench issued these directives while hearing complaints carrying matters of ‘seniority’ ‘promotion’ and ‘protection of salary’.
FST divisional bench was hearing Shafqat Mahmud’s appeal on ‘promotion’, Khalid Mehmood’s complaint on ‘seniority’ and Nawab Khan’s appeal on ‘protection of salary’.
The bench also heard Inam ul Haque’ appeal on ‘implementation’ the matter pending for decision since 2009, Ejaz Ahmed Bajwa’ appeal on ‘restoration of appeal’, Ghulafm Ishaq Kiyani’s appeal on ‘withholding of two annual increments’ and Attaur Rehman’s compliant on regarding withholding of allowance.
All of these cases had been filed against FBR and in the most cases the department had not filed objections yet.
