ISLAMABAD: A division bench of Federal Service Tribunal adjourned hearing of around ten service matters carrying complaint about ‘promotion un-granted’ to the employees of Federal Service Tribunal.
FST division bench comprising Members, Ishtiaq Ahmed and Dr Nazir Saeed heard the cases and adjourned for first week of December.
The bench directed the counsels to assist the bench on the cases with provision of further details of cases. The bench asked the sides to present the detailed archival record on the cases.
Inam ul Haq, Muhammad Moosa Jamali, Inayatullah Khattak, Dost Muhammad, Ajmal Khan, Muhammad Haroon Khattak and Wasat ullah Jaffari had filed the complaints.
Inam ul Haq had filed four cases through senior lawyer of Supreme Court of Pakistan. He had filed these cases in 2012 for the first time and since then he had submitted a couple of implementation cases too.
The appellant had submitted complaints about un-granted promotion and had made Member administration of Federal Board of Revenue the main respondent in the case.
They had prayed the tribunal to direct the department for implementing departmental rules and regulations for awarding them promotion up to due scales.
They had mentioned that they were not given due right at the tribunal despite serving for years. Board’s administration was lingering on the matters and subsequently many of the employees were suffering.
The appellants prayed the tribunal to take strict notice of board’s negligence and ensure their promotion as per board’s regulations.
