ISLAMABAD: Amid thin presence of staffers, Federal Service Tribunal dated in office hearing on ‘implementation’ and ‘increment’ complaints filed by employees of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Thursday.
FST bench comprising Members Syed Rafique Hussain Shah and Dr Nazir Saeed held hearing. Syed Rafique Hussain Shah and Dr Nazir Saeed dated in office hearing of cases filed by M Waheed, Anjum Rasheed, and others.
However, thin attendance of employees was observed as majority of the staffers had left for outstations taking advantage of consecutive holidays on the weekend.
Many of them had left for their homes and villages on Wednesday-a day earlier then 23rd March on which the national holiday was observed.
In the meantime, Syed Rafique Hussain Shah and Dr Nazir Saeed adjourned hearing of cases filed by Waseem Iqbal, Anjum Waheed, Said Hussain Abbasi and Abdul Sattar.
Waseem Iqbal, Anjum Waheed, and Said Hussain Abbasi had filed complaints on ‘Implementation’ while Abdul Sattar had submitted a complaint about ‘Withholding of three increments’.
Ishtiaq Ahmed and M Javed Iqbal Kasi will resume hearing of cases filed by Noor Muhammad, Muhammad Ishtiaque and Aurangzeb challenging reversion. They had filed their cases in 2016.
Another appellant had filed complaint about implementation by Syed Sultan Abbas. Same bench heard the cases asking the tribunal to ensure implementation over its earlier announced decision which was not yet compiled by the board authorities.
