The European Commission said in a report published last week that it expected Poland’s real GDP to grow by 4.2 percent in 2018 and 3.6 percent in 2019. Those rates would be among the highest in the EU.
The Polish economy grew 5.1 percent in the final quarter of 2017, according to the country’s Central Statistical Office (GUS).
GDP growth for the whole of 2017 was 4.6 percent.
