HELSINKI: Finland’s wood imports totalled 0.61 million cubic metres in November 2017. This was the weakest monthly result of 2017 with it being 21% smaller than in November 2016, says Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke) in its statistics report.
In January-November the Finnish wood imports totalled 8.07 million cubic metres. Thus, wood imports in Finland decreased by 11% year-on-year.
The total value of the Finnish forest industry products exported in November 2017 totalled EUR 1.08 billion. It was the best monthly result of 2017.
