HELSINKI: The preparation of Finland’s Budget for 2018 will begin on August 8-9 with a budget session at the Ministry of Finance, the Finnish Government has announced.
According to a Ministry of Finance release, the Budget proposal will be sent to the ministries and published online on August 10, 2017, and then discussed at ministerial level on August 16-17.
The Government proposal for the 2018 Budget will be published on September 19, 2017, following which a debate on the proposals will be held at an extraordinary Ministerial Finance Committee meeting and a government plenary session. The 2018 Budget will then be published online.
