LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested three human traffickers in operations in different areas.
FIA official told Customs Today that anti-human trafficking cell of the agency raided a locality in Gujranwala and arrested Muhammad Abbass and Qaiser Abbas.
In another action, the FIA Lahore arrested a human trafficker, Tabassum, involved in sending many people abroad on fake documents.
The FIA has registered cases against the culprits under sections of human smuggling and fraud with citizens.
Arrested accused were involved in sending innocent citizens to foreign countries on bugus documents and also looted millions of rupees in frauds on the wake of sending them abroad. FIA also recovered passports and currency of different countries. Number of complaints were registered against these accuses in this regard. FIA has shifted them to unknown place for further investigation and prosecution.
