LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested a human trafficker in a successful raid in Lahore.
Sources told Customs Today that anti-human trafficking cell of the agency raided a locality of Lahore and arrested Abdul Raheem who was wanted in a case of human smuggling.
The FIA officials said that he looted Rs 800,000 from a citizen for sending him to Italy. The FIA has registered a case against the culprit under sections of human smuggling and fraud with citizens.
Arrested accused was involved in sending innocent citizens to foreign countries on bugus documents and also looted millions of rupees in frauds on the wake of sending them abroad. During investigation FIA also recovered passports and currency of different countries. FIA has shifted them to unknown place for further investigation and prosecution.
